What Can I Expect From the Portrait Session?
You can expect that the softness and simplicity of natural light will flatter your skin tones and complement the environment you choose to be photographed in. You can expect that your portrait will be distinctive, timeless and treasured for generations to come. You can expect that a personal and professional client-photographer relationship will develop based on trust, attention to detail and excellent customer service.

How Long Will the Portrait Session Take?
Your portrait session will be relaxed and unhurried. It will take an hour to an hour and a half depending upon the ages and number of subjects being photographed. Natural expressions will be encouraged through a relaxed, casual approach. Early morning or late afternoon hours provide the best lighting for environmental portraits. It is best not to schedule other appointments close to your session time, so you can enjoy the experience.

Where Will My Portrait be Taken?
Natural Light Portraits specialises in on-location portraiture and will come to your home or a selected location. Locations may include the beach, your backyard, garden, or indoors by natural window light.

What Does the Session Fee Cover?
The session fee reserves a time for GDS Freelance to photograph your family and covers all costs involved in creating your images including editing and post-production work. The session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer. It does not include portraits. The session fee includes a consultation with GDS Freelance after the photo shoot to assist you with your portrait selections. Once the session fee is received, your time and date are confirmed.

What Should I Wear?
A clothing consultation is included in your session fee. Clothing should complement, not dominate the portrait. Solid colors, harmonious tones and simple styles are usually the best.

What Happens if the Weather Doesn't Cooperate?
Cloudy or overcast days produce a softly diffused light that is flattering for portraits. In the event of bad weather, I will contact you to reschedule the portrait session at our mutual convenience.

How Much Will it Cost?
We offer something for everyone's budget. Custom portrait packages are available starting at £275. Archival, fine art prints are very much In demand due to their beauty and longevity. Portrait photographs are available with the purchase of a wall portrait. Detailed pricing information will be sent to you prior to scheduling your portrait session. For your convenience, we accept British sterling and personal checks.

When Will My Images be Ready to be Viewed?
Your images will be available for viewing in ten to fifteen business days after your photo shoot. GDS Freelance will contact you to arrange a preview appointment, so that we can assist you with your portrait selections. Viewing images can take anywhere from one to two hours, so please allow sufficient time in which to make the best choices. All decision-makers should be present at the preview appointment.

When Will My Portraits Be Ready?
Portrait orders are to be placed at the time of your preview appointment and require a fifty percent deposit. The balance is due upon receipt of your portraits. Please remember that your quality portrait is a lifetime investment, so please allow upto three to five weeks for delivery.
